Crown Reduction

Crown Reduction, North London
Increase The Light And Sense Of Space In Your Garden
The height and distribution of the tree’s crown are both reduced via specialised crown reduction methods. When a tree’s crown has grown too large, crown reduction techniques reduce stress on individual branches or the whole tree and aim to preserve the tree’s adaptability and health in its natural environment by allowing more light to get through while also reducing shade issues.
Because the tree’s fundamental framework is preserved, none of our crown reduction methods jeopardises the tree’s health, safety or aesthetics.
We also provide more general tree pruning services in addition to crown reduction, such as:
Crown Thinning
Crown thinning is the method of removing some of the tree’s smaller branches from the outermost crown. Crown thinning has little effect on the tree’s overall size and height, but it does provide more symmetrical foliage, allows more light to get through, and reduces wind resistance and weight.
Crown Lifting
Crown lifting is the method of removing the lower branches of a tree to provide more light and access to the tree’s trunk and base. Crown lifting does not affect the tree’s size or height.
Although Crown lifting, thinning, and reduction may not be suitable for all trees, our fully trained tree surgeons can advise you on the best way to improve the look and safety of your tree.
Crown Reduction – Essential for Proper Tree Care and Maintenance.
